Structural Detailing
MCS has the capacity to detail structural projects of any size or complexity, whether it’s 1 ton or over 6000 tons, we show the same care and consideration to all of our customers and their projects. Miscellaneous Detailing
While offering Miscellaneous Detailing services alone has become a staple for MCS, we believe that providing Miscellaneous Detailing alongside our Structural Detailing services gives our customers the immense benefits of communication and collaboration under the same roof. Completing both aspects of the project in tandem with one another cuts down on fabrication delays, coordination issues, and lets our customers more easily view the project as one job rather than as separate entities.
Estimating
MCS understands that estimating is a major part of the continuously evolving construction industry. With our expanded estimating team, we are always available to provide accurate and competitive quotes for Structural Detailing, Miscellaneous Detailing, and Engineering, whether you have the project in-hand or not. We believe that flexibility in estimating is one of our strengths and view the quoting process as a service we provide in partnership with our customers; your success is our success.
Estimodeling
With estimates becoming more frequent and competitive, it is more important than ever to be as accurate and as confident in your quotes as possible. Estimodeling allows our customers to use their staff estimators in conjunction with our team of Estimodelers to more accurately assess the price and scope of a project. Pre-bid model reviews, a wide range of informational reports, readily available purchase lists, and improved quote documentation are some of the many benefits of Estimodeling. This service is extremely flexible, and if the project is awarded to MCS, Estimodeling expenses will go towards our quote, saving you time and money.
Project Management
A successful project involves more than just the design and drawings. Project Managers who are readily available, attentive to the schedule and understand both structural steel detailing and fabrication are an integral part of every job. MCS always assigns two Project Managers from North America to each project, no matter the size. We are available to address all concerns, attend any meetings, and provide on-going communication related to the status of the project whenever our customers need it.
Documentation
Clear and concise documentation can be the difference between a misunderstood change order, an incorrect RFI response, expensive wasted coordination time, and ultimately a disorganized project. With this in mind, MCS leverages evolving tools and extensive experience to produce thoughtful, clear and functional documentation for our customers ensuring that every project remains organized and successful.
